Update Your Passwords
With the holidays approaching, your credit card information will be used at multiple stores and websites. It may be a good idea to beef up your security on your personal accounts and changing your passwords is the first step. Make sure you use unique passwords for each of your accounts. If it is difficult for you to keep track of different passwords, a password manager may be best for you.
Use strong passwords that are not ordinary words. We also recommend using multi-factor authentication on your logins, whenever possible. This is the most important recommendation we can give you.
Lastly, keep an eye on your accounts. Enrolling in a credit monitoring service like LifeLock is easy and will help you watch out for unusual activity on your accounts. If you ever have questions or need help, please call us here at Frankenstein Computers and we will be glad to assist you
